I have started to do some sketches but something which I am really proud of is this car. It is the first time I have tried to draw a car and I think that it turned out quite well. The 3D aspect came out quite nicely.

The drawing on the bottom of the page is my first attempt which I didn't really like so I tried again. This time with a lighter pencil so I could get a lot more construction lines in, but then have darkened it with a darker pencil and have gotten rid of the construction lines.

This will be the main car which I am going to be showing when I try and pitch my idea.
I am thinking about using this somehow in a logo for the game but that is something which I am going to focus on more once I sort out more things.

I have come up with several more ideas for my game which i think will help it a lot more.

Enemy types

I am thinking of adding some enemy's which are different than the obstacles which you have to avoid. I am thinking about having cop cars along with other drag racers. Depending on which of the enemy types you pass you will have to react either by speeding up or slowing down. I am thinking that with the police car, if you pass it going 100km/h you will get a fine which you need to pay and then start at the begging of the level. If you pass it under 100km/h then nothing will happen.
With the other drag racers, they will challenge you to a race which you must accept. If you win you will get some money but if you lose than you have to give them money.

 Customization 

Customization I think will be a massive part of my game. The idea that you have spent real time doing up this car would hopefully make the user feel like they are more immersed in the game. The way I am thinking of doing this is by giving the player a average car which has all even statistics but they are quite low. As they progress through the game they will earn money which they can use to purchase other stuff for their car like a new body kit, paint job, wheels, engine. Some of these will effect the cars performance by either making it able to travel faster or be able to take more damage from the obstacles which are on the road.

At this stage I am still thinking about more things which I can add into the game as well as have a lot of drawings which I want to do. My goal is to start writing up my proposal on Monday which will give me 3 days to go through it and make sure that I have everything that I want in it.
